Project General Lines:
(A) PRODUCTIVITY
Technical implementation of process improvements and optimization of resources, by means of a management philosophy focussed on the identification of the 7 types of waste: Overproduction, Waiting times, Transport, Excessive processes, Inventory, Movements and Defects. Quality improvement and improvement of production times, and cost reduction.
Implementation of productivity tools (TPM, SMED, HOSHIN, 5S, Value analysis...)
(B) DEVELOPMENT OF PIECES, MOLDS AND PACKAGING:
Design and development of new products. Definition of technical specifications. Process design and the development of prototypes.
Simulations of injection processes and of finished products (thermal and mechanical).
Definition of packaging.
(C) ENVIRONMENT
Research into new uses for biodegradable plastics, in different transformation technologies.
Uses for industrial waste from the plastics sector or from other industries.
Uses for industrial waste from any sector, using them as additives in the plastics industry sector.
(D) MATERIALS
Search for metallic, ceramic or glass products which might be able to be manufactured in plastics. Whilst at the same time maintaining or improving their initial functional characteristics and increasing the competitiveness of the company.
Development of new plastic composite materials by means of adding elements (nano-components, Vegetable fibres, waste products from other industries,...), in order to improve the characteristics of conventional plastics.
