Project focused on the development of new sustainable composites for the manufacture of filament for 3D printing. This project, which is funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism as part of the R&D framework Industria Conectada 4.0, seeks to develop a material from natural elements such as olive wood, olive pits, pine wood, fruit pits or mollusc shells.
The project has developed a filament that is largely composed of a vegetable by-product that improves its properties. In a later phase of the project, Andaltec was responsible for producing demonstrators of the new materials developed in the project.
